Life Update: In anticipation of defending my dissertation (God willing, in August), Archbishop Rozanski has given me a new assignment, effective July 1.
I recently had the opportunity to participate in a podcast with @MOcatholic. I’m grateful for the chance to reflect on the importance of standing against PAS and to contribute to this important discussion. The episode can be found here: https://t.co/sibU8uZ6cv
Grateful for the chance to present to youth ministers in the @archstl on “The Intersection of Faith & Politics: Helping Youth Discern with a Catholic Conscience.” Thankful for the thoughtful dialogue and commitment to forming faithful, engaged young people.
Excited to share my latest peer-reviewed publication in The Linacre Quarterly: “Possible, Permissible, and Praiseworthy…” on the ethics of attempting baptism during a C-section scar ectopic wedge resection.

Honored to be invited by the Catholic Study Center at Washington University to present at the medical school next month. Grateful for the opportunity to share and engage in meaningful dialogue at the intersection of faith and medicine.
Grateful to Dr. Furton and the @NCBCenter for inviting me to write a short piece for Ethics & Medics, based on my paper from last fall’s issue of NCBC Quarterly.
Now that everybody's back to school, I'm thinking of a wonderful professor I had in university. He'd begin every semester the same way. He'd say: If you lack wisdom, God can give it to you. If you lack knowledge, I can give it to you. If you lack common sense, nobody can help you. That comes back to me this morning as God's holy word speaks to us about wisdom, which seems eclipsed by knowledge in our society. They're different, but both are important.

Excited to be joining Mary Bruno for a panel conversation on October 4th at the @ProLifeSTL’s 49th annual Respect Life Convention! Looking forward to a great conversation with @archstl on #infertility, #IVF, and the Catholic Church. https://t.co/UsECNv9Wxe
I'm thankful to my friends at @TheCHAUSA for including my short piece "Called to be Witnesses of Hope" in the summer issue of their publication, “Health Progress.” https://t.co/efDC8pwCXs
Honored to contribute a short musing in the spring issue of #HealthProgress. While all analogies fall short, I think drawing an analogy between clinical ethics consultants (CECs) & baseball umpires can highlight important aspects of the role of CECs https://t.co/TnJ6KTmMEE
Excited to share my latest published article in the National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly, “Essential and Possible: A Post-pandemic Analysis of Decisions to Suspend the Public Celebration of the Mass.” https://t.co/Pt87VaDzUs
Any of my medical professionals looking for CME / CNE credits? I'm looking forward to joining the faculty for this fantastic opportunity to spend one day learning more about fundamental Catholic health care ethics. https://t.co/EI85KU1sVc
Grateful to Dr. Daniel Smith from @SLU_Theology for joining some of our @archstl priests for the presentation “Preaching the Passion in Light of Nostra Aetate: Jesus and the Jewish People in John’s Gospel.”
