EVERYONE needs to understand what PBMs are doing to the people that support patients and communities all across America. An hour on hold multiple times this week to speak to someone at our local Walgreens. Independents do not have much time left unless something is done!!
Per @McKinsey, profits at #hospital-owned specialty #pharmacies will grow more quickly than all other #pharmacy channels (incl #PBM owned SPs). Profits at retail #pharmacies will decline.

Our ENL teachers hosted an ENL orientation where parents and students were invited in to learn about Bowling Green, meet our ENL staff and ask questions.
Drug on the left = $570
Drug on the right = $356
Which drug would you want to purchase knowing that the tablets are identical and are made in the same manufacturing plant?
The cheaper one obviously, right?
Then why do major PBMs exclude the cheaper one?
Insurance requires a DAW 9 for Farxiga since they don’t want to cover the must less expensive generic.
Re-processed with DAW 9 and they still want to pay $310 UNDER COST
Last month insurance paid $552, now paying $254.
Guess I won’t be filling this one.
