@TMBlakeEurostar I’m sure your colleagues would have appreciated a hand on that train though. 😜 Whenever in standby, I always help my colleagues out on the starting services from Newcastle. It gives them head start and makes the day go quicker for me.
@EurostarJustinp 2/2 I’m looking at any faults which will impact the journey, either by delay or passenger experience, HVAC, toilet facilities, cleanliness of train, luggage and bike storage areas secure, emergency equipment and contingency water supplies.
@EurostarJustinp 1/2 I like the idea of it, but it’s not something routinely done when on cover, we call it ‘orders’ at NCL. Personally though, I like to know my train before departure. So quite similar to your process.
@seatsixtyone Working a train to Edinburgh yesterday morning. I’ve already seen passengers who’ve benefited from this once in a generation fares reform.
@EurostarJustinp Yeah, we’re staying in Strasbourg, but will also be visiting Basel and somewhere in Germany, but not sure where yet. Any recommendations?
@hcrossers@NewarkNorthgate You’re most welcome! They were a lovely couple of gentlemen, both retired from SNCB and Thalys. Thanks too for the LNER merchandise.
