I'm just saying weigh the cost of travel ball against the odds of receiving a scholarship and I don't know if AAU and travel ball is worth the bang for the buck. Check out Rod Hairston's video AAU DO THE MATH PART 2! #TikTok https://t.co/4tglFF0YM8

I'm just saying the odds of being recruited as a high school girls' basketball player on an AAU team is like hitting the lottery. Check out Rod Hairston's video! #TikTok https://t.co/02mpthPJIG

GENO AURIEMMA ON ENTHUSIASM
"If your body language is bad, you'll never get into the game ... I'd rather lose than watch kids play the way some kids play.

They're always thinking about themselves. Me, me, me ... When I watch game film, I'm checking what's going on the bench."

[Andrew K @CoachKurzawski]

AAU Players: If every weekend your team is undefeated, you either play with a bunch of players who will be heading to Duke, or your coach is sabotaging you to win games. The goal is improvement - not weekend trophy hunting. Iron sharpens iron…play against BETTER players.

[PG County Girls Basketball Coaches Association @pgcgbca]

@CoachDevone When being recruited, who you are as a person matters! Coaches have to feel that you are not only an exceptional talent but you are an exceptional person as well.

[Coach Devone @CoachDevone]

Having the ability to judge talent based on character and pass on exceptionally talented players that show red flags. #Maturecoaching

[David Williams @Dwilliams1515]

FYI just so you AAU kids now there will be NO college coaches at your games this weekend regardless what a family member or coach tells you. #DeadPeriod
