2023 NFL season is quickly approaching so time to roll out the newest edition of the Post WW2 All Time 1st team. Almost unchanged since last year:
-Kellen Winslow (TE), +Travis Kelce (TE)
Futures Watch list: ZMartin, PMahomes, JJefferson, MParsons
Throwback List: PWarfield
Rams historical All Time DL (using Madden Ultimate Team rules) is the best all time, Minnesota Vikings clearly pushed aside.
EDGE: Deacon Jones, Myles Garrett, Von Miller, Jack Youngblood, Kevin Greene
DT: Aaron Donald, Merlin Olsen, ND Suh, Roger Brown, Larry Brooks
@Buckeye937B I'm working on 21-40.
Von, Lambert, Woodson, Revis will be making it for sure. Likely more from your sample list.
Singletary and Blount definitively won't.
My tentative, always subject to change, Top 20 Defensive Players of All Time.
@JJWatt is the enigma to rank. I think his 3-4 year peak is likely the best in the 100+ year history of the sport.
Perhaps initially looks like modern bias in the T5 though old timers dominate T6-10.

Michael Dean Perry in 1993 with a masterful performance, teleporting into the backfield:
1 sack (-10 yards), 3 run TFLs (-4, -2, -6 yards), and multiple nominal gain tackles (0, 1, and 4 [on 2nd and 16] yards).
If you love DTs might be worth your 2 minutes to watch.
Player DVOA from 1977! Walter Payton wins MVP but was Mark van Eeghen almost as good?
Plus, more obscure wide receivers than a Tampa Bay GOP congressional hopeful can shake a stick at.

Let's go back in time again! We introduce 1977 DVOA to our database.
-- Cowboys as No. 1 SB champions.
-- Bucs with the worst offense in history.
-- Great no-name Dolphins running game.
-- Incredibly easy Bears schedule.

@Profhofcantonf@Zzz_worthy While each is unique I think Lamar is eventually an easier sell than Fouts, Moon, and Kelly.
Who knows if voters will see it that way.
