Working with an array of researchers we began identifying eeg biomarkers of behavior in humans and mice! We found one for effort!
Amphetamine increased effort in both species but did not move the #eeg#biomarker
Saw a pallet in the parking lot this morning stacked with cardboard boxes labeled "MICE" and thought huh, that doesn't seem like a very safe or secure way to transport animals, leaving them out in the open like that
Then I saw the boxes labeled "KEYBOARDS"

Here we showed that the PRBT has cross-species pharmacological predictive validity - amphetamine increased effortful motivation in humans and mice. It didn’t affect a related EEG biomarker, but keep an eye out for more data from our group!
