We've got a new meta on our hands – or rather: Two of them!
FOREVER FORWARD arrives with some Cynthia hype, one sought-after (but questionable?) nerf and some major implications for the NAIC format.
Who are the winners, who are the losers, what will change? Let's jump in! 🧵
Shadow forretress! I hope you are as excited as I am about this mon hitting the rocket rotation, so here is a shadow forretress analysis ! Here are the details!🧵
I have now been banned from the Pokémon Professors Discord.
They deleted all of my messages regarding the incident. Will update everyone when I get my disciplinary email from Play!Pokemon.
@Firestar73_ you deserved to win. They can’t silence me on that.
The "incident" you are now, for the first time, claiming was the basis of the decision did not affect the gameplay at all, yet decided the whole tournament. Section 2.1 requires a "clear explanation of any infraction and its penalty" and I was never given this as the basis at all
“Hitting and shaking the table during gameplay”
Pokemon Go is literally an action-based game. Players constantly tapping the screen nonstop for about 5 minutes per game. It’s natural to have some exasperation but look at this clip.
This is an incredibly unserious ruling.
As a judge I’m not supposed to discuss ruling publicly.
However, I also believe that as a judge my job is to give players a fair space to compete.
If a player in a high stakes battle can lose out on thousands of dollars for shaking the table, what kind of space have we built?
Since I’m already going to get in trouble for sharing this, here is the statement that was made after the Orlando regionals regarding judges discussing what happened:
P!P Show Six tierlist ahead of Prague!
Early practice usage implies that Tinkaton is the new central threat in the meta following the addition of Gigaton Hammer 🔨
(P.S.: I'm not a huge fan of this change, as I believe the previous meta was more open and not yet figured out.)
Tinkaton CDay is today! Curious about how this pokemon would shape the meta, I started making a deep dive regarding a potential good IV spreads, and ended up finding some pretty insane things... Here is what I found !
Hello, I have two big updates today! For one, I have an official
statement on Orlando.

Just want to give a huge shout-out and thank you to the man himself, @Firestar73_ , for taking the time to come over to my house this morning to talk about the Orlando Regionals.
We recorded an interview talking about the whole situation and it gives an incredible amount of insight into what went down, the state of competitive Pokemon, etc.
I am waiting to confirm some things before I post it, but I'm hoping the judges do a proper investigation and overturn their decision to give him the trophy he deserves.
Hello everyone, I am incredibly thankful for the support directed my way. I have a direct account of my experiences releasing soon in an interview, which I will link when it’s out. For the moment, please use the support link if you disagree with the ruling as well. Love yall ❤️
No Orlando graphic for today.
If you ever see something you disagree with at a #PlayPokemon event, give the people who can make change evidence to do so by submitting support tickets.
