The house we lived in when I was growing up started falling apart

It was nice when it was built at first but wear and tear began to set in

My dad was already building another place so there was no point renovating

Here was my own problem

I HATED cleaning that house

The paint was peeling off the wall

The ceiling was getting stained

Tiles were chipping off

The rug was really old

Everything was just annoying and so even after cleaning, it just looked weird.

It was not giving what it was supposed to give at all

And me?? I like for things to give🌝

One day my dad noticed I stopped doing deep cleaning as per my normal style

When he asked I just told him “daddy I’m waiting for us to pack out from this place before I start cleaning the house well. This place makes cleaning Frustrating for me”

My dad looked at me and said

“It’s either you’re a clean person or not.
If you cannot clean your old house, you will still not find it in you to clean a new house. Because at some point, the new house will not be so new anymore”

I’ve never forgotten those words

“It’s either you’re a clean person or you’re not”

It’s either that man or woman is chaste or not

Marriage won’t change them. If they are flirting and sleepingg around now, they will still continue after marriage

It’s either that man is stingy or not

Having more money won’t change him

It’s either that lady is a content person or not

Buying her so many things won’t stop her from being insatiable

Many times we think that a situation will suddenly make us different

And so you’re waiting to be married before you become prayerful

If anything, it will make you a more cold Christian

Child of God, it doesn’t matter where you are now

Don’t think your nature will suddenly change when God lifts you

Many times those rough edges you have not sandpapered can even bring you down after you have climbed

Start working on yourself now

Invest in your self

Trust God in the place of prayer and study of the word to BECOME
