@insanepplrreal2@krassenstein Please, a well rehearsed pre-scripted ‘instant response’ that Jerry was just waiting for. Defenceless Palestinians getting slaughtered; let’s make a jibe about it and, ‘get a laugh’!
We have images of actual beheaded babies on our timelines and all we get from Western media is copy-paste from the Israeli PR machine, "a tragic mistake". The way some journalists and editors at @nytimes, @guardian and @BBCNews carry water for genocidaires is just breathtaking.
There is no other way to say this: the (lack of) reaction to the scenes of sheer carnage, burned refugee bodies, and decapitated babies coming out of Rafah tonight from the U.S. political and media establishments is nothing other than the normalizing, the banalizing, of genocide.
@realRickWiles Yes, absolutely @realRickWiles
Indiscriminate, uncompromising cruelty, undertaken with hatred & impunity.
Yet they’re the good guys eh!
I’ll be patient with the Yze era for sure … but while I wait it would seem I’m going to groan and roll my eyes quite a bit watching Richmond this season. #gotiges
A BBC News correspondent tried to stop me from calling Israel's onslaught on Gaza a genocide because it might "offend" people.
Since when did we worry about "offending" génocidaires? I will never accept such attempts at censorship.
Don’t think for even a minute that it’s going to be automatically OK, that is totally socially acceptable, to shop with a skiing goggle lookalike on! This, ‘technological imperative’ needs to be addressed.
Less than 1 week since Apple launched Vision Pro, and the hype is unreal.
Here are 15 wild examples you don't want to miss:
1. Grocery shopping with Vision Pro
@dr_cintas Sorry @dr_cintas but how antisocial! And the ‘look’ is disgusting. Why is every technological innovation lorded as the new imperative way of life - we’re losing our humanity, our cultural identities and becoming more and more robotic. Great features though.
Couldn’t agree with you more @Constababble please amplify this message and get it out there! It’s a vital ingredient for a healthy society and it’s largely ignored. Anecdotal evidence like yours shows what I observe & know firsthand from a teacher’s perspective.
I went to co-ed rural public school then started uni living at a co-ed college on campus at ANU and I can tell ya now...
Waiting til boys from rich families are 18 to introduce them to living and working with girls and women... doesn't produce great blokes.
I hope to host a debate between @realDonaldTrump and @JoeBiden.
I think this can be done well, in a way that explores the ideas and humanity of the candidates with depth, compassion, and humor, in long-form conversation format.
Probably many other people can be better moderators than me. Great. I just would love to see this done outside of mainstream media debate format.
