@ZenoRogue Slightly hypebolic, but there was one year with the Game of Life on a recursive field. You start with a 3x3 grid, but the center cell is a nested 3x3 grid, and so on. I think there've been a few interesting Game of Life variatione over the years.

Interesting paper: Chinese and Indian mathematicians were more receptive to negative numbers than their European counterparts. In the case of the Indians, that may be in part because of Indian accounting practices.

Went bikepacking on the C&O Canal this weekend. Did 3.7 miles Friday, 39.1 miles Saturday, and 10.9 miles today. Now I'm tired and sore.
