What an terrible experience booking a flight on @easyJet is.
Want to bring a bag? Sweet £30. Want to make sure you sit next to your 5 year old, wife & new born? Cool £60. Everything costs. Everything about it screams we don’t give a shit.
Does any airline actually do this well?
@bertil_hatt@easyJet I know it’s what to expect when using this type of airline, but it’s been a while since I booked a flight and I don’t remember it ever being this bad. Especially when the ticket prices aren’t even particularly cheap.
@graceclarke It’s the hardest thing that you’ll ever do, but if you lean into it, there is pure magic there.
Sure some things go to shit for a while, but the amount of purpose you feel is unrivalled. I don’t love being a parent all the time, but I wouldn’t change it for anything.
Pleased to inform that life with a 2 month old is going great 😭
Feels like something that accounts for what new parents go through would be a great addition to @WHOOP
Even with all the cool things happening rn, my favourite use of AI is creating bedtime stories for my son where he goes on different adventures each night with his teddy.
First solo hike this weekend. There’s something pretty daunting about wandering off into the wilderness on your own, with only a vague idea of where you’re going. No growth without discomfort though.
