@ebassi Once I tried to use the palette API to set hue lights based on the dominant color of the screen, and scaling the image down lowered CPU usage and allowed it to update basically in real time :)

@ebassi I wonder if you could get better perf by first scaling the image down in size, and then extracting the dominant color. Whatever the dominant color is should stay after shrinking the image anyways 🤔

I had to give it a paint job, but I really like how this is turning out! By moving the media controls to the right you are able to interact with them without having to reach too far out :)

@esodan It looks like nodejs can indeed run code from a C library, so maybe it's possible although I'm not quite sure what will happen to the GTK main loop and everything in between... But it's worth trying it out!
