There is an intractable tension between nationalism as the stalwart advocacy of one’s own people and way of life, and universal ideologies that prize the uniform application of such advocacy. I think the two can be held together, albeit inharmoniously, by confederacy or empire, which should always possess an ethnic core and an even larger umbrella, but otherwise not so.

People’s unique opposition to Flock cameras shows that they despise the perception of being surveilled but not the state of being surveilled. Flock cameras are just the most obvious and conspicuous form of surveillance.

I was the first person to report on the fact that Milo was in the US illegally where he incited violence against President Trump and worked for Marjorie Traitor Greene.

Recently, Candace Owens invited this illegal alien into her home.

When Milo called for me to be assassinated, I reported him to ICE and the FBI.

I told you all that Milo was an illegal alien.

He was detained in Louisiana by @ICEgov.

Milo is going to be deported back to the UK where he can live among the Muslims he has recently chosen to embrace.

BAP recently explains that his advocacy of “meritocracy” is an attempt to establish the prerequisites of IQ and HBD acceptance as well as other more controversial things that are currently impossible. Poisoning meritocracy with all the excrescences of “race realism” and criticism of Israel with “hardcore antisemitism and Holocaust denial” is a good way to frustrate either’s realization. Looking to Candace Owens and others on the RW podcast circuit, this seems a plausible diagnosis.

Philosophical arguments for God's existence fail if they do not explain why the Atheist cannot take the Theist's concept of a brute fact with no sufficient reason and simply ascribe it to the Universe in general or to the problem in question (order, morality, knowledge etc).

This defense of meritocracy actually does differ from that of Ramaswamy’s or Silicon Valley’s, which is cynically deployed to defend something that isn’t actually meritocratic at all.

A lot of ideologues are allergic to praxis that would secure the success of their ideas. In this way they allow the dream of the destination to obscure the journey to said destination, in whole or in part.

In order to defeat socialists, you have to become quasi-socialist, or at least absorb some of their concerns. You have to metabolize socialism before socialists obtain power and disastrously prove themselves unworthy of their own goals. Not enough Republicans realize this and are instead doing their best Herbert Hoover impression, only to be thrown out of office to make room for a more radical New Deal, and then a less radical Fair Deal.

Hoover’s biggest problem wasn’t necessarily that he failed to save the economy during the Great Depression, but that he looked like he didn’t care. This is why FDR was so much more popular, despite the perhaps negligible effects of his massive government reforms. Boosting morale is itself important, and, like it or not, people look to the government for leadership. They do not see the president as some sort of hockey referee whose chief mission is never to get involved in the game unless he sees foul play.
