@Lesism It is a condition that makes you different, not better, not worse, just a unique way of experiencing, seeing, sensing & responding. NOT a sickness nor an illness as such - check out Facebook's Aspbergers & autism support groups
@stellacreasy I don't understand that so much is done to save premature babies, and yet this woman not only GOT pregnant, she kept a pregnancy she didn't want right up until the last month... That can't be correct or defensible to kill a baby in the last month
@stellacreasy My pre-eclampsia baby was born at size of 30 weeks, and the French State put so much money& effort in trying to save her... Tube feeding, intensive incubator 1 month. When I remember everything done to save my baby, this story makes me sick! Take the pill & safe sex first! No exc
@drgeorgeforbes@DrCalumMiller What crap. If she didn't want the pregnancy, why couldn't the woman just take contraceptive pills in the first place (like everyone else)?? You cannot just mail pills to anyone, without checks! Shame on you....
@BenBrodyDC This was the worst event of the year for me, I enjoyed your newsletter, articles and reporting so much! May you find your new niche quickly and keep up the great analysis!
@d_a_robson@BBC_Future@TerriApter Many thanks for a great piece, certainly v. helpful to understanding my teenager :-) BTW, it is 'peek inside teenagers' brains', not peak (mountain peak) :-)
@skynews So the cost-of-living crisis means that few people can afford electric cars, yet customers can shell out an extra 1,000 GBP on jetting off somewhere exotic? Did I get that right? #humanextinction#climatechange

perspective: facebook $5B penalty just 11 weeks of cash flow= ignored no impact vs. $50B 2 yrs worth - might have made a real impact says @profgalloway@mit_ide#SMSMIT
@MaraEinstein @sivavaid Also arguably one of the hardest panels of the day... Difficult to ask FB users to pay for services they are accustomed to get ostensibly 'for free' (obviously they pay with data and metadata)
@ZephyrTeachout He said a lot more than that :-)) He called for people leading at companies resulting in incitement to violence and the bludgeoning of a police officer at the Capital to go down in orange jackets!
@hmason doesn’t think companies will pay individuals to use their data .. they get it for free.
Goal of a company is become a monopoly and extract maximum value... @mit_ide #SMSMIT
@kaliouby - technology is neutral..
how do we use technology to be positive and make an impact - do good things for mental health.. yet approached both others to use same tech for surveillance
We need to choose. What are our core values #SMSMIT @mit_ide
