IDF soldiers tell a young Palestinian man to continue on his way, then shoot him from a distance and kill him.
A cold-blooded field execution. This is not a state, but a terrorist organization.
1. Disabled people have a place in the revolution
2. You should exercise to the extent that you are able to.
Those two statements are not in conflict with each other.
Dear physically fit “Leftists” there are senior/disabled folks in my (and your) neighborhood that need help with groceries, pet & self care, transportation, advocacy & general household maintenance.
Feel free to put those muscles to work right now!
The revolution starts today!
as far as i can tell none of these fitness-pilled leftists are fistfighting any fascists, so it kinda sounds to me like they just want to look hot for each other. which is cute! but not exactly a radical project
Lots of people with Palestinian flags in their bios claiming that disabled people are useless eaters. Meanwhile, Palestinians in Gaza have one of the highest rates of disability in the world. Fascism disables. And ableism is a key feature of fascism.
Rightwingers making hay off this is expected but a bunch of ostensible leftists freaking out over some very standard academic points about biopower & fascism is a much redder flag for the state of the US left than how many squats anybody can do
Disabled leftists aren't telling you not to work out. They are saying that working out doesn't make you better than them. If you DO think that working out makes you better than disabled people, you have embraced the supremacist logic of fascism. It's really that simple.
We’re obsessed with the idea that poor people might take more than they need.
We never ask why the super rich are never satisfied with what they already have.
i have zero interest AT ALL in the lindsay clancy trial and aside from the obvious desperate need for increased education about postpartum depression and psychosis i see no reason why this case is being used for sweeping generalizations of any kind

We never will do that. We never have done that"
