Sadly, a pedestrian is killed every 74 minutes in traffic crashes. Remember, at some point in the day EVERYONE is a pedestrian:
🚶➡️ Follow the rules of the road
🚶➡️ Use crosswalks when available
🚶➡️ Walk on sidewalks when available
🚘 Look out for pedestrians and minimize blind spots
🚘 Be careful in hard-to-see conditions
🚘 Yield to pedestrians in crosswalks
@lacherbauer TOD isn't the flex people think it is. Rail and buses are great, but only if they go where people want to go. How many single family homes with double wide lots could fit along a highway?
@juneconte@CitiBikeNYC Bike Lanes are definitely NOT based on usage, that is obvious. The government is purposely creating traffic in hopes of forcing people out of their cars, this too is obvious and nefarious.
