I gave my Grok Spreadbot $1,000 and one rule.
"Never get bigger after a loss."
Trade here: https://t.co/6ggA5GmxCl
It turned $1,000 into $1,432 in one session(3 hours)
But the number isn't the story. The wall is.
Before it was allowed to place a single trade, I wrote what it can't do:
> enter only when a spread clears 70 bps across 5 venues
> exits fixed before entry: take profit 20 bps, stop 100 bps
> after any loss: 15:00 cooldown, size locked, leverage wall at 25x
Loop it ran:
scan 7 pairs on Hyperliquid, Binance, Bybit, OKX, dYdX → spread > 70 bps → write the exit → enter → close at TP or SL → loss? lock and wait
[10:00] - $1,136. scanning.
[10:22] - $1,247. ETH, OKX → BYB, +$111.33
[11:00] - $1,294. AVAX, +$46.63
[11:33] - $1,274. LINK hits the stop. -$19.86.
Then I tried to break it.
"Size 3.0x requested." Denied.
"Leverage 50x requested." The wall is 25x.
"Exit edit requested." Denied.
It didn't argue. It didn't average down. It waited out the 15:00.
[12:40] - $1,372. SOL, +$98.23, same size as before the loss.
[13:12] - $1,432. ETH, +$59.61
10 fills. 8 green, 2 red. Worst loss $27.50.
If it had sized 3x after that LINK stop, the same stop would have cost ~$60 instead of $19.86.
I didn't touch anything.
Most bots size up to win it back. Mine was built so it can't.
