This is f*cking insane.
I put my Claude agents on a $500 sim account and let them trade on their own.
First stretch was easy. Green, green, small red, green again. $500 turned into $1,612.
Then it went wrong. 7 losses out of 8 trades. $1,612 → $312. 80% gone in a few minutes.
I almost killed it.
RISK kept saying the setups were still valid. So I let it run.
Next 4 trades:
BTC short +$151
BTC short +$432
DOGE long +$644
XRP long +$1,076
$312 → $2,617.
28 trades. 17 wins, 11 losses. Worst drawdown I’ve ever sat through.
The balance keeps moving. The agents don’t stop.

Someone on a $500 position pays about $15 in taker fee on Polymarket (~3%). That’s the price of not checking.
sports prices look clean on the page, but a taker fee is added at trade time, so the number you click isn’t your real cost, the same game is often priced differently on MagicMarkets, and most people never check both
that’s what Thumper is for, It’s a free browser extension from @magicmarkets
how it works:
-> Open a game on polymarket and pick an outcome
-> Thumper shows the MagicMarkets price in the trade box, fees counted on both sides
-> If MagicMarkets is cheaper, you get a “better odds” tag with the gap in cents and one click to open the same market
-> If polymarket is cheaper, it tells you that too
example: 42.7¢ on polymarket including fee vs 40.7¢ on MagicMarkets for the same side
