Atiku Abubakar’s political approach remains puzzling and quite frankly, disappointing for someone who has been in the game for over 30 years.

Buhari came into party politics later and still became President. Bola Ahmed Tinubu followed a similar path — building structure, investing time, and today, he is President.

Both men did the hard work: they built political platforms, nurtured them, and grew them into winning machines.

But instead of following a proven template, you chose the shortcut — jumping from one platform to another, essentially trying to “buy” rm structures from factions.

Many of us struggle to understand risk and probabilities. The sickle cell genotype is relatively simple as far as probabilities go, yet many of us struggle with it.

For instance. It's possible, but improbable, for this couple to have 4 kids and all of them would be AA. It's also possible but improbable for them to have 4 kids and all of them would be SS.

Trying to explain this concept to many of us is a tough tough challenge. Imagine trying to explain even more difficult and multifactorial probabilities, correlations and risks to Nigerians. Impossible! It's partly why a lot of our medicine is paternalistic. People simply don't have the skill.

It's also why I don't bother too much with explanations here when I share data/ studies. Does that can benefit will, the others just won't and will argue incessantly. Will one day work on an understanding of stats and data series and will share when it's ready. Till then, please don't do the rough play of marrying AS if you're AS. Chances of you crying blood is very high!
