Friends - after a day of weeping & pleading before our Lord, united with so many who have been interceding for us, our son's heart began to move late last night! It is weak & incomplete but it is a beat! It sustained and grew all day today. Please keep praying for Gus! Ps. 31:19

Yesterday, my son was disrespectful to a teacher. It clearly hurt her feelings. Unacceptable.
So this morning, I took my son by the hand and we marched right into her classroom before school started.
What I witnessed my young son do was enough to move a grown man to tears.
I watched a 5 year old boy show more humility than our current “leaders” ever do.
“I am sorry that I hurt your feelings. I didn’t think about what I was saying. It happens sometimes at home too. I’m sorry.”
Then he gave her a hug.
I was… speechless. It wasn’t what he said. It was the genuineness of his words to his teacher. He meant every word.
I am so proud. And I let him know.
We will never raise children who never make mistakes. So instead, raise children who can take accountability and learn when they do. ❤️
