If there’s one manager who will never prove me wrong no matter what…it’s Gasperini.
Against teams with clear socio-affective advantages
Or teams with meso-temporal advantages (time advantages btwn actions) e.g. Palladino & Chivu he usually struggles
Forever-flawed game model
@franciscoftbl I get where you’re coming from. But I think some fundamentals are called that for a reason. It’s like learning to drive, at the start you NEED certain references (hand position, seat setup, etc), then you can find your own way of driving
@stirling_j Holland 2010. There's no way teams from 50–60 years ago could match today’s level of intensity, tactical preparation, and technical quality (spread across the entire squad)
Preferring old teams it’s mostly nostalgia bias.
@stirling_j In my opinion if Ganso gets a contribution for this goal, the same should go to #11, who pins the furthest defender. None of them, or both of them.
🎯 Fiorentina’s Offensive Corner Kick vs FC Inter:
🔹 Inter defends with a 4-man zonal structure.
🔹 Fiorentina uses Beltrán’s decoy run to pull out Frattesi (#16) out of position and free up space near the penalty spot for Ranieri’s deep run.
