@rattmartin It’s possible Lee isn’t back so they are changing leadership right there. I agree perhaps leadership needs a change and that’s perhaps why Schenn was acquired

@stefen_rosner I mean Schenn can play still and he’s only signed for two more years. Palat is in last year now and you were gonna pay Tsyplakov 2 million anyway this year so his contract hit is 4.5 essentially.

@y2j1399 @StapeNHL Barzal was very good under Trotz, showed up in playoffs also. Only way isles are moving him is in a hockey deal that nets them someone like Robertson. He isn’t being traded for futures.

@LIsportsfans @IslesDen They chose Leddy, not Dobson. Leddy was way more important to those teams and it’s all hindsight to say but they win game 7 in Tampa the next season they win cup and nobody talks about trading Toews.

@IslesDen Is he even that good though, he’s big but not really offensive or necessarily tough. He was a middle round pick and got pushed out in Buffalo. I feel like if they are looking on right side they should aim higher IMO.
