@adeoressi Amazing! working toward that for my own SMB, debating whether I should look into using open-source LLM. all-in-pod besties talked about onprem GLM, which makes tons of sense for enterprise, but not exactly ideal for SMBs
@adeoressi Why all prediction about net massive job losses and rounds of layoff when (after using AI in last 2 yrs for my own SMB) my hunch tells me AI is opening up tons of new opportunities (many will fail but still...) that in turn will create lots more jobs than those being displaced.

@mitchpresnick Isn't it not unlike VC capital allocation model? Seems inefficient, inherently has brutal failure rate of individual startups, and outsize return in the long run.
@WSJ Funny coming from a Japanese. I lived in Japan for a few years. It became clear after living there for a bit, behind the polite facade, the pervasive distrust against gaijin (outsiders), especially other Asians and people of color, are deeply embedded in Japanese DNA.
@mitchpresnick Optimizing for shareholder return in the long run will get you US-style economy, the hollowing out of low-margin manufacturing, stagnant/declining lower and middle class income, growing massive income disparity with the government in the pocket of and serving the ultra rich.
@arankomatsuzaki Hahahahahaha Dwarkesh clearly heard what Jensen said but wasn't listening... for some reasons. Maybe he was focusing on creating the tension for entertainment purpose.
@WalshFreedom Remind congress the oath that says they will “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”
