@TheStalwart@mattyglesias I dunno, I met a lot of people in San Francisco who were really mad about things like this, and they mostly struck me as pretty progressive. It was much harder to find anyone happy about the process, including the politicians notionally behind it! https://t.co/4PIBkI9DvC
@Millsatwork The city has a deep history of boom and bust, it’ll get better. This is the best article to date on the topic - written 10 years ago https://t.co/4WuRE9jAoB
@Millsatwork Very sad for everyone, and layered. Covid lockdown was oil on fire. It’s better now than 3 years ago. people now accepting saying that this went too far to the left, and it needs balance. We want permissiveness but not endless crime and fentanyl ODs. Chesa Boudin was peak excess
@Millsatwork didn’t read it. But Definitely not - biz is stronger than ever, much fun to have and we turned a corner after the recent local election. But thru last 10 years excessive progressive politics created dystopia with zombie addicts, legal property theft and endless housing crisis
Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.
In memory of David Lynch, we will continue to explore the otherworldly and the unknown. We will focus not on the loss, but on what we gained from the years we shared this planet with you. We will see you in our dreams.
@OmariJHardy @CheyCab Ah yes, the profound respect of today's liberals for the working class. Average people should beg for subsidies, and give up, THAT would be in their best interest. Thinking you can get their vote with that rhetoric is where stupidity lies.
@george__mack you have it totally upside down. the media is insanely dramatic because audiences ask for it. if not, then some media would have figured it out to drive massive audiences through calm and rational content. but people want shock and danger. i mean.. look at twitter itself.
