Joined a "Parents of T1 Children" group to get an idea of what it's like on the other side now we know my youngest is at risk - they are insane! Crazy helicoptering, throwing parties on the diaversary, t-shirts branded for warriors, claiming Blue Badges, etc. Wtf?!

Just to add, she's not diagnosed diabetic (yet) and apparently her risk is about 10%, but I want to be able to catch it early if it does happen and I'm basically lost on how we do that. I'm watching for the 4Ts and can do spot-checks on her BG, but is that it?

#GBdoc 1 year old has tested + for 1/4 anitbodies via venous test (INNODIA study) but they will only rescreen after 2 years. Is there a way to be monitored more frequently or is there no need to worry?
