Netherlands resident here. @BBCScotlandNews - plenty of cyclists of all ages and physical abilities here. Dutch designers have come up with brilliant bike designs for wheelchair users, etc. It’s just wrong to say that cycling is limited to certain groups of people.

@philosofarr When I was a University lecturer I found I would forget how to spell the most basic of words when writing on a whiteboard in front of a class. Not nervousness, just the way my brain works, it seems.
