but sometimes when i talk about this it makes it seem like pio is selfish for wanting stuff and that's exactly why he isn't. he genuinely feels deep remorse as to what happened with jeongyo and believes that he took part in it. pio is unbelievably a very unreliable narrator

i'm talking about this scene. pio doesn't think he deserves to be holding a spot of jeongyo's life, but a quiet part of him still grieves that distance. he can't completely kill the part of him to want to be by jeongyo's side ☹️☹️☹️

on it thats actually positive for jeongyo rather than how his own mother uses the figure of Mary. She uses it to prop herself up at his expense & absolve her guilt and its part of how she abuses him. Also like how its a parallel to jeongyo passing on his moms teachings to pio

Pio was not the only one who kept remembering this song . Jeongyo also kept hearing it too . Even though he was scheming revenge plot his love for music and Pio still draged him into his memories with him . 🥲 #jeongpio #FourHandsTwoSonatas

Interesting. I feel like it links to the candle scene too. Pio using mother mary candles to help jeongyo. Also love how in that scene pio takes something he learned/got from his mother & uses it to help jeongyo but he doesnt directly follow his mother. He puts his own better spin

he felt like he wasn't part of jeongyo's life anymore. when jae-in mentioned that jeongyo had accepted the orchestra offer, he simply asked, "oh, he took it?" with a sad expression because he had to find out from someone else ☹️☹️☹️ my pio

Wow. Just how many details of Choi Jeongyo is actually Lee Junyoung's. Imagine how much Junyoung understands Jeongyo that every little detail he added was so Jeongyo of him. Damn.
