The political solution is to elect a genuine outsider with commanding majorities in both the House and the Senate, then use that democratic mandate decisively.

#THEMACHINE - Labor, Liberal, Nationals, Greens

Every party in Canberra has a machine behind it. I spent weeks mapping them. You’re paying for part of it.

I’m not talking about a conspiracy. I’m talking about things written in budget papers, court judgments and the organisations’ own websites.

Here’s what the map shows. Behind every political party sits a layer of think tanks that write their ideas. Behind that sits private money, $1.2 billion flowed to the major parties over 22 years, and a third of it came through entities that don’t have to say where it’s from. Behind that sit investment funds the parties own outright. And behind all of it sit international networks that have been running this play since before your grandparents could vote.

Labor has its machine. The Coalition has its machine. The Greens have one. Even the teals built one. They fight each other on the telly every night, but none of them built their own engine.

The thinking happens in rooms most Australians have never heard of.

And here’s the bit that got me. Four of these think tanks, Labor’s, the Liberals’, the Nationals’ and the Greens’, are funded by you, through a Finance Department program almost nobody knows exists.

Over the coming days I’m going to walk you through the whole machine. Layer by layer. Every claim sourced. Both sides held to the same standard. When I get something wrong, I’ll correct it.

Because the parties change. The machine doesn’t.

And none of it is illegal. That’s the problem.

The strategic military tactic of using air raids to target power stations—aiming to cripple an enemy’s electrical grid to weaken their industrial capacity—has been employed in conflicts from World War II right through to the most recent regional wars.

If Australia were ever attacked, the first thing any competent enemy would do is hammer is our electricity generating infrastructure.

They would seek to bomb our coal-fired power stations into oblivion.

But in Australia today, the enemy is already inside the gates.

We don’t need foreign bombers.

We have the Net Zero mafia and the climate cultists doing the job for them, as they systematically blow up our reliable coal-fired power stations.

The latest casualty is the Liddell Power Station, owned by AGL.

For AGL, shutting it down and “blowing it up” was a cold, anti-competitive profit-maximising decision.

By deliberately reducing supply, they drove up the wholesale electricity prices they were receiving from their other generating assets, making the company far more profitable with Liddell destroyed than running.

AGL even rejected a $250 million offer from a competitor who wanted to buy Liddell and keep it operating.

The station was literally worth more to AGL dead than alive. This is textbook anti-competitive behaviour by a company with substantial market power.

It should be illegal. Yet when I raised this directly with the ACCC, they refused to anything.

The brutal bottom line is this: if it weren’t for the deranged Net Zero obsession and the suicidal Paris Accord (which the USA has abandoned and China simply ignores), a brand-new, high-efficiency, low-emissions coal-fired power station should have been commissioned at Liddell back in 2018 for around $4 billion.

Instead, we’ve already wasted over $40 billion on the energy-destroying white elephant called Snowy 2.0.

We are not being invaded. The enemy is already inside the gates.

We are committing national energy suicide — aided and abetted by our own politicians, bureaucrats, and corporate rent-seekers.

Today, I was given a permanent ban of posting on my Facebook page, @Meta. The page can exist - apparently - but I am not allowed to post on it anymore. The page has been deemed controversial due to the Giggle v Tickle case and increased popularity of 25,000 new followers in a week. I don't want to labor the irony of being banned on a social networking platform while fighting in court for the right to ban men from a woman only social networking platform, it is what it is. Frankly, I'd love to have the same right that you do, @Meta.

Women are routinely punished for not accepting men as women. It doesn't turn those men into women. Nothing will.

1. Connect the coal fields in the east with the iron ore fields in the west with a northern rail crossing and make steel at either end.

2. Reinstate the Inland Rail but send it to Gladstone to complete a true National Rail Circuit.

3. Let farmers get on with the job to feed and clothe the world.

The ABC has failed its bias test yet again, as chair Kim Williams is caught taking another swipe at One Nation.

I would pull the $1.3 billion in ABC funding, and turn them into a subscription.

The regional places like radio that do a good job can stay but all the ABC “journalists” in the capital city will have to prove the Australian people want them.

A massive part of One Nation’s Gas policy is ending Net-Zero because it wants to destroy the gas industry and make us more vulnerable to the Strait of Hormuz and China.

The Australian people will finally get a fair share of their oil and gas resources under a ground-breaking new policy launched by One Nation on Thursday.

The policy will foster more exploration and development of Australia's world-class energy reserves and secure domestic supplies for energy production and critical industries like fertiliser manufacturing and liquid fuel refining.

The policy will give the industry a 30% rebate on oil and gas exploration in Commonwealth waters. In exchange, the Commonwealth would take up to a 30% non-operating equity stake in production licences through a new taxpayer-owned investment vehicle: the Australian Natural Wealth Investment Corporation (ANWIC).

ANWIC will use its share of gas and oil to meet domestic demand first, and export the surplus. Profits from the sale of taxpayer-owned gas and oil will be put in a sovereign wealth fund, and also used to pay off the nation's $1 trillion debt. The corporation would also share in 30% of costs, including the all-important decommissioning phase when the wells cease production.

One Nation will also replace the no-longer-fit-for-purpose Petroleum Rent Resource Tax on industry profits with a royalty on industry production, giving the industry more certainty and the Australian people a fairer return.

One Nation will fight to:
✔ Keep more Australian gas in Australia
✔ Lower household energy costs
✔ Support local manufacturing
✔ Secure reliable energy for the future
