@coshgirl There’s a reason they talk about the “ebike smile”.
I use my ebike to commute to work instead of driving. I use it to do my shopping.
What’s the problem? I’m not in a race so I’m not “cheating”. I don’t want to ride a bike for exercise (I prefer swimming/running). Nuff said
@adamtranter Absolutely not. If you made it without falling into the water (or being pushed in) you might ride straight into the solitary psychopath wandering along the path in the dead of night (or 8pm)…or is that just me 😳
@AusterfieldM @owdrider @but_cyclists@DAMOCHANDLER6 Definitely Australia (don’t know which State though). I love the fact that they apparently choose to ride their bikes not for any other reason but to hold up cars! 😂
@DAaronovitch@LawDavF My father was loathe to use it given its apparent trusting in G-d’s will. So he’d use ‘yours sincerely’ instead (business 1950s-90s). I’ve inherited that. But now use the breezy ‘best’ or ‘kind regards’ depending on the formality.
@RafelaFitz @theJeremyVine@RBKC@jthalassites@betterstreetskc@London_Cycling Gutted! As a truck driver I loved having the separated lane as another layer of defence for the cyclist, this is a dreadful decision that the council will end up regretting! We need more separation not less! So angry!
