@coshgirl There’s a reason they talk about the “ebike smile”.
I use my ebike to commute to work instead of driving. I use it to do my shopping.
What’s the problem? I’m not in a race so I’m not “cheating”. I don’t want to ride a bike for exercise (I prefer swimming/running). Nuff said

@DAaronovitch @LawDavF My father was loathe to use it given its apparent trusting in G-d’s will. So he’d use ‘yours sincerely’ instead (business 1950s-90s). I’ve inherited that. But now use the breezy ‘best’ or ‘kind regards’ depending on the formality.
