I wrote this reply to someone who (probably a network school supporter) was insistent that Malaysia is lawless and fake news even after I shared links to government press releases, news reports, summary of Education Act 1996 (act 550 or 555 section 71+72) regarding the federal level offence on the usage of 'school' as a business name without a permit.

Now they have deleted all their correspondence in this thread.

One thing I don't understand is this: Why is the U.S. carrying Israel's burden as if Israel were one of its own states?

Malaysia is a sovereign country and has the right to determine its own foreign policy. The country has said it cannot recognise Israel because of what it considers Israel's cruel treatment of the Palestinians. How is that the U.S. government's business?
