I’m super excited to share the latest publication of Team #TPEX, @UtzschneiderD, Axel Kallies and myself in @ImmunityCP, where we explore the secrets of #TPEX metabolic longevity with implications in #Immunotherapy. Short #tweetorial below:

Bedoui and colleagues describe how antigen presenting cells integrate innate stimuli and CD40 signaling from CD4+ T cells to drive antiviral CD8+ T cell responses. Read it here: https://t.co/CU0GwB7Pt7

I’m absolutely stoked to see a side project of mine being brought to the next level by my friend Carlson Tsui @KalliesLab and collaborators @LoKretschmer & Svenja Rapelius @VeitBuchholz lab. Published today @nature!

An #ICBnews and commentary: Anna Schulz & Dietmar Zehn discuss how CD8+ T cells fine-tune their metabolic fitness to maintain long-term T cell responses based on a paper by @pitepit_ et al in @ImmunityCP. @UniMelbMDHS @TheDohertyInst https://t.co/Hqyslvtb25
If you don't know them yet: 'Accelerating Cancer Immunotherapy Research' @ACIR_org is on a mission to provide a weekly synopsis of the key advances in the field of cancer immunotherapy to clinicians, researchers and the public.
Thanks for highlighting our work in @ImmunityCP!

3/ Comparing infections with a race, our study suggests a model where #TEX cells run off at full speed and thereby quickly exhaust. #TPEX cells in contrast start much slower thanks to supressed #mTOR, and thereby are prepared to run the marathon ahead (chronic infection).
It is great to host Axel Kallies for Ludwig seminar in our institute. I am still very impressed by the works done by @pitepit_ and @UtzschneiderD ! Looking forward to the development of our collaborative work🙏
