Kenya Water Towers Agency signs an MoU with Mama Doing Good Initiative. This is aimed at producing 3 million tree seedlings. KWTA donated 3 million bags for the nursery establishment across the county by women and youth. Mama Doing Good has over 200,000 registered members.

Attended the National Executive Pitstop Retreat presided over by President William Ruto at the Edge Convention Centre, South C, Nairobi.
The meeting brings together Cabinet Secretaries,Principal Secretaries and other senior government officials to take stock of the progress in the implementation of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

Media plays a crucial role in fostering good governance as a watchdog that holds those in power accountable.
Over time, the relationship between the media and government has strained, reaching near-adversarial levels.

During a consultative breakfast meeting with the Media Owners Association (MOA), we committed to resetting relations for mutual benefit and that of the country.
The government affirms its commitment to respecting and safeguarding press freedom, requesting in return objective, fair, and accurate reporting. Pending bills will soon be addressed, settling debts owed to media houses through the Government Advertising Agency (GAA).
In our interactions, I urged media houses to steer the country away from perpetual campaign mode, emphasizing their role in entrenching integrity and good governance through impartial reporting and upholding journalistic ethics.

Additionally, I urge media owners to help us combat corruption in government and also within their rank and file, which only serves to erode public trust in us.
