@BigWizard40@ChubbsOnlyy@lerrieadesy_lm@Hollywood7300@TemiXo_1 We’re talking about what we believe, are we not? I’m not saying my beliefs are objective fact, but neither are yours.
Out of interest, do you think it’s morally wrong to kill animals? Why/why not?
@BigWizard40@ChubbsOnlyy@lerrieadesy_lm@Hollywood7300@TemiXo_1 I believe it’s justifiable because I don’t believe anyone has the right to use another person’s body without their consent. If it were possible to remove a foetus from a woman’s body without harming it, I’d agree that we should, but it isn’t.
@BigWizard40@ChubbsOnlyy@lerrieadesy_lm@Hollywood7300@TemiXo_1 You think people who support abortions are evil. I think people who support the idea of forcing people, including children or rape victims, to give birth when they don’t want to are evil. Morality is subjective.
@BigWizard40@ChubbsOnlyy@lerrieadesy_lm@Hollywood7300@TemiXo_1 The natural consequence of smoking is lung cancer but we don’t refuse cancer treatment to smokers. Contraceptives are also a good thing that actively prevents abortions and should be encouraged.
@BigWizard40@ChubbsOnlyy@lerrieadesy_lm@Hollywood7300@TemiXo_1 The concept of “if you don’t want to get pregnant don’t have sex” is foreign to me - if someone never wants children they can never have sex? If a couple doesn’t want any more children they can never have sex again? It’s a utopian fantasy, sorry
@BigWizard40@ChubbsOnlyy@lerrieadesy_lm@Hollywood7300@TemiXo_1 Except you said “you don’t have the authority/right”, not “you should not have the authority/right”. There’s a key distinction. Personally I think forcing someone to give birth against their will is immoral, and I’m glad the law protects against that.
@BigWizard40@ChubbsOnlyy@lerrieadesy_lm@Hollywood7300@TemiXo_1 Yes, and as I said, you are entitled to your own moral code and to believe that abortion is wrong, but your moral code is not law and it doesn’t govern anyone. People legally DO have a right to an abortion regardless of whether you think it’s wrong or not.
@JoeCarpentyah@Poplolly_1997@RustinGrey@NeilLfc_5 Just loud and wrong. It’s not a sexual offence to be topless in public for either men or women, and you can show breasts on TV pre-watershed as long as it’s not in a sexual context. Google will tell you this in 2 seconds
@BradChuck@GNRailUK@TLRailUK Also looking for Letchworth. Thameslink are advising to use you Great Northern as an alternative to their trains as yours are apparently running, do you know roughly when services will resume?
