We are already standardised around the existing standard. Changing the “Sandard” in a way that would damage existing users of the standard is by definition a breach of the standard!

I welcome new features, but they must not render old useless

A few facts that are worth keeping in mind for this.
1. No deaths caused by “Drones”
2. No verified sightings at airports.
3. No evidence that a sub 2KG drone could cause risk to life at an airport (or anywhere else for that Matter)
