일본 라인의 실체

반한 감정을 피한 영업을 한 것은 맞고, 국적 논란이 있을때 부터 라인과 네이버는 적극적인 대응을 하지 않았다(서비스에 국적을 따지는 것도 웃김)

그러나 라인의 핵심 기능은 모두 한국 개발팀에 의해 만들어져왔다. 마케팅/데이터 분석도 모두 한국인이 했다. 참고로 현재 라인의 디자인을 흑/백의 심플로 일신한 팀도 한국인이다.

그렇다면 그 많은 일본인 사원들은 무엇을 했는가?
라��에서 일본인 팀은 쩌리팀-마케구미(負け組)였다. 의도적으로 그렇게 한 것이 아니라 그냥 졸라 못했기 때문이다. 후쿠오카 라인의 경우, 라인 메신저가 아니라 부수적으로 들어가는 서비스를 개발했다. 예를 들어 잡다한 찌라시, 쿠폰, 뉴스등의 필요없는 기능들이며 대부분 실패하고 프로젝트는 클로즈 됐다.

극단적으로 말하면 잉여 일본인 리소스를 활용하기 위해 필요없는 프로젝트를 생성한 것이라 할 수 있다. 문제는 그런 쩌리 기능들조차 제대로 만들지 못했다. 일본식(잘라파고스)으로 하지 말고 글로벌 표준을 따라라고 수없이 말해도 듣지 않았다.

못하는 주제에 자존심과 고집은 하늘을 찔렀다. 잘못된 것을 올바르게 지적하면 반발이 심했는데, 아주 어처구니 없고 아마추어적인 형태였다. 예를 들어, “이건 우리들이 다수결로 옳다고 정한 것이기 때문에 바꿀수 없다” 는 식의 대학교 동아리 같은 마인드를 가지고 있다.

아무튼 그러한 마인드와 실력 문제로 인해 라인 본앱에 일본인을 쓰기 매우 어려웠다. 다시 말하지만, 정치가 아니라 그냥 못했기 때문이다. 라인 본앱의 핵심 기능은 한국에서 개발됐다. UI디자인도 한국에서 한국인이 했다. 많은 사람들이 과소평가 하지만, 라인은 한국인이 만든 글로벌 앱이 맞다.

따라서 이번 사태로 인해 한국인이 만든 서비스중 그나마 내세울 만한 글로벌 서비스 하나가 그냥 사라질 수 있는 것이다. 일본인들이 일본인의 기술력으로 만든 글로벌 앱이라 자화자찬 할 생각을 하니 벌써부터 역겹다. -- 앞으로의 전개는 뻔하다. 만약 이대로 라인이 넘어갈 경우, 라인의 히스토리에서 한국인은 기록말살형부터 당할 것이다 --

사실 반한 감정이라기 보다 그냥 인종차별이다. 일본인은 남녀��소 구분하지 않고 백인이라면 환장하는 민족성을 가지고 있다. (남자가 남자백인에게 환장함)일본인의 백인 우월주의는 겪어보지 않���면 모른다. 페북, 구글, 마소, 아마존은 자신들보다 우월한 백인이 만든 서비스기 때문에 개인 정보가 털리든 말든 관계없다.

“일본인의 소중한 데이터를 한국인이 가지고 있다”
<— 역시 인종차별이다. 내생각에 일본인은 교육이 모자란 것 같다. 욕이 아니다. 내가 본 일본 거주 미국/유럽인들 모두 일본인들의 교육수준을 문제삼았다.

따지고 보면 상당히 웃지 못할 현실인데, 사건의 본질은 그냥 한국인이 만든 것이 국민앱이 된 사실이 너무나도 굴욕적이라 견딜 수 없는 것이다.

처음 들어갔던 회사는 다시는 가기 싫은 블랙회사(이력서에 안 적음)이긴 했지만.. 지금은 그 때 받던 박봉의 열배는 받음
