@ScienceShared & telling staff NOT to tell colleagues they are ill after working together. No apps on the floor so no way to know you've been a close contact. All of this is likely why my mums been in bed for days. Who knows if she infected someone when she asked to go home the day before?
@ScienceShared The lack of social distancing, repeatedly allowing and encouraging workers with coughs or fatigue etc to come in to work under the "its probably a cold. We all need to be flexible, as we don't know if there will be more redundancies" is a huge issue in retail as well.
@BoldedScience Hopefully not to hell for stealing children's milk, destroying the lives of the working classes along with whole industries and plunging millions into poverty like Thatcher...
We won't collaborate with Home Office on today’s immigration rule change. Rough sleeping is now grounds for refusal of permission to stay for some non-UK nationals. We oppose this, believe it is discriminatory, & will do all in our power to protect the most vulnerable #Haringey
@BenMurphyF35@Uber_Support We're just a few miles out of Norwich funnily enough and it doesn't deliver here either, just advertises it does. It's not just your area, it's just poor advertising.
@sapiofoxy The alternative medicine market is forecast to be worth 296.3 billion by2027, it's an extremely profitable buisness. There are reasons it's not funded but it's rarely because of profit, I'm not totally anti-alternative medicine but cost is not the argument to make here.
@doctor_oxford@10DowningStreet Seems to be the new gov standard. Bad idea? Just stick an NHS logo on it to make it seem as if it was guided by science and health. Its damaging trust in our NHS and an insult to everyone in working within the NHS.
(Also very disappointed they didn't go with Christmas bauble.)
@jade_schilling I don't come from a social science background which was required in the ad. I had some similar work experience and ALOT of passion. Email them to chat if you don't quite fit the ad description because you may just be an unusual fit not a bad fit!
Shamima Begum is British. When she was 15, she was groomed online by a so-called Islamic terror outfit, was lured away from her home and exploitated by an older man. If she was white and middle class this would be a completely different story.
@seagullsej @martin2riggs@hansmollman I dropped out after my interview at Oxford after finding the perfect project at a non-RG uni too, not sure if I would have got the offer but a great project or course is always better than simply doing something just to say oxbridge.
