Not having the database flag set in that one data table doesn't mean these SSNs are active or that these people are considered "alive." Musk is rage-baiting.

This is just one data table, and these people are NOT receiving social security checks. No money is going out to them. Musk wants to make it sound like fraud — it isn't.

They are records in a database and yes they're out of date and should be fixed, but characterizing them as fraud is bogus. If someone isn't actively cashing SS checks for them, it's not fraud.
