Mumbles Community Council has resolved that Cllr Rob Marshall is removed from the position of co-chairman of the culture, tourism and communications committee, and apologises in writing to Welsh medium school YGG Llwynderw. Bit of a saga - story to follow tomorrow.

This is odd. A Welsh medium primary is asked to take part in a song festival, but is told it cannot perform even *part* of a song in Welsh.

Two points:
1. Wales is culturally distinct, and that distinctiveness necessitates recognition and celebration
2. Welsh belongs to us *all*
