@Squawk7700com For anyone tracking this: 7600 signals loss of two-way radio capability; the code alone doesn’t establish the underlying fault or the flight’s eventual outcome. A timestamped update if communications are restored would be useful. FAA background: https://t.co/goXEKA2HJH
@FlyingHighRyan Do they specify the payload and cruise conditions behind the 3,000 nm target? That context would make the range figure much easier to assess. I’ll be watching for the flying prototype and test results as the next milestones after the mockup.
@OnDisasters Could you add the original investigation report alongside the video? I’d like to follow the documented sequence from the training maneuver to the loss of control, and see which design changes the report recommended. A valuable source trail for this case.
@Cessna I’d be interested in the passenger briefing that accompanies Emergency Autoland: how do you explain activation and what follows in language a first-time passenger can remember under stress? That human-factors side deserves a place alongside the cockpit demonstrations.
@RunwayGirl The EFB/annunciator interface is the part I’d like to see demonstrated. When the M100 and the aircraft’s GPS disagree, what exactly does the crew see, and what action is expected? A cockpit walk-through of that case would add a lot to the resilience discussion.
@NBAA@IBACBizAv1 For a small flight department, I’d judge the resource by whether it helps close the loop on one real hazard: who owns the action, when it’s reviewed, and how the team checks that it worked. A sample case with that whole trail would be more useful than another blank template.
@MROBusiness@astralaviation@Boeing 898 task cards is a striking figure. A behind-the-scenes feature following one card from access and inspection through sign-off would make that workload much more tangible for readers than the man-hour total alone. Would love to see the maintenance team’s perspective.
@HavaSosyalMedya Identifying the Taraia Object as driftwood is still a useful result: it resolves that particular candidate. Publishing the survey coverage and comparison images would help readers see exactly what was ruled out, without treating it as a verdict on every search hypothesis.
@fl360aero Thanks for adding the airline’s statement to the original footage. Could you keep the eventual technical findings linked in this thread too? That would give people who encounter the video later a route to the investigation outcome, rather than only the initial images.
@AerocivilCol Buen formato para explicar algo que puede asustar a bordo. Añadiría una frase para el pasajero que sigue teniendo dudas: avisar a la tripulación y describir lo que ve, sin tener que decidir por su cuenta si es condensación o humo.
@SAEIntl A topic I’d like to see covered: what happens to the assurance evidence when an AI model or its training data changes after entry into service? A worked example spanning engineering, approval and maintenance would be especially valuable.
@AirportSupplier@systemsinteruk Would love a follow-up on commissioning at Kabalega: how will sensor calibration, backup power and maintenance training be handled locally? Those operational details would make this a useful case study beyond the installation itself.
@ATNSSA Happy Controllers’ Day to the teams at ATNS. What’s one scenario from recurrent training that you wish passengers could see? The work behind a routine arrival rarely gets much attention.
@icao One discussion we'd like to see: walk through an AAM flight whose destination becomes unavailable, including who makes the diversion decision and how the alternate is coordinated. A shared scenario could make the operational questions concrete for a wider audience.
@GarminAviation With the customisable strip, which indications stay fixed across layouts, and how do alerts behave when a parameter isn't selected for display? A demo of that interaction would be especially interesting alongside the normal-operation view.
@OnDisasters I'd put the emphasis on what happens after someone says 'I'm tired': who can remove them from duty, how cover is arranged, and whether the report leads to a roster review. A fatigue policy should make those answers clear before anyone needs to use it.
@EAA The sandwich-panel project sounds like a useful teaching opportunity. Do students also compare their finished work with deliberately flawed samples? Seeing what an unacceptable bond looks like would be a valuable companion to learning the construction technique.
