In the first update following yesterday's controversial incident at Shri Shatrunjay Mahatirth, the Anandji Kalyanji Pedhi has reportedly dismissed the security head responsible for oversight during the alleged religious protocol violations, according to news received from Acharya Somchandrasurishwarji Maharaja.

However, Jain community organizations across India have expressed that the removal of the security head alone is insufficient to address the gravity of the situation. The Jain sangh continues to press for:

* A formal written apology to the community along with detailed explanation of the circumstances that led to the violations
* Systemic reforms to prevent future occurrences
* Greater accountability in temple administration

The incident raises larger questions about oversight mechanisms, contractor vetting processes, and the preservation of religious protocols at sacred Jain sites.
