The Fed is secretly pumping liquidity back into the market without calling it QE.
Fed's balance sheet hit $6.736 trillion this week, its highest level since April 2025, up about $236 billion (3.6%) from the cycle low near $6.5 trillion in early 2026.
Before this, the Fed spent almost two years shrinking its balance sheet. It went from $8.9 trillion all the way down to $6.5 trillion. That was QT.
Now it is reversing and The balance sheet is growing again.
Officially, The Fed calls this "reserve management." They say it just keeps enough cash in the system for banks to function smoothly.
But more money on the Fed's balance sheet means more liquidity in the market. That's exactly what QE does.
They're just not calling it that.
🚨 INSIGHT: Is Bitcoin's bear market entering its final phase?
Real Vision's Jamie Coutts says Bitcoin is likely in the second half of its bear market, with fading downside momentum and a potential path to $200K to $250K.

Bitcoin has now spent 307 days inside one $10,000 range
The $60,000 to $70,000 band has become the third most-traded range in $BTC history, per CoinDesk, marking one of the longest consolidations the asset has ever printed.
Price is currently retesting $64,400, the level that rejected it on Monday. A clean break higher puts the June 15 peak of $67,250 back in play.
BITCOIN ETFS ARE SHOWING SIGNS OF LIFE 👀
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $197.4 million in net inflows this week, marking their first positive week since May.
The reversal suggests institutional demand may be returning after weeks of sustained outflows.

$BTC SUPPLY SHOCK TALK IS BACK.
Adam Back is getting clipped for a $1M Bitcoin call, while traders point to exchange balances at new lows.
If supply keeps tightening, BTC doesn’t need much demand to move hard 🚀
The CLARITY Act is now in its do or die phase.
If it doesn’t pass the Senate before the August 7 recess, the chances of it becoming law drop to almost zero.
The Senate returns July 13. That leaves roughly 20 working days to get this done.
Here’s where things stand.
• No floor vote has been scheduled. No cloture motion has been filed. Senate Majority Leader John Thune hasn’t allocated floor time yet.
• The full compromise text is expected to be released soon. Senator Lummis promised it would come out during the July recess, but it still hasn’t appeared.
The main thing blocking it is an ethics dispute.
Democrats want language preventing the President, members of Congress, and federal officials from personally profiting from crypto while in office.
This became a bigger issue after Trump’s financial disclosure showed roughly $1.4 billion in crypto income for 2025 from memecoin royalties, World Liberty Financial token sales, and other streams.
The White House says it accepts rules that apply to everyone but rejects anything targeting one specific officeholder.
Republican Senator Thom Tillis said in April he’d vote against the bill without ethics language.
There are two other fights holding it up.
• Section 604 protects software developers from being treated as money transmitters.
Law enforcement groups say it would hurt criminal investigations.
• Whether crypto exchanges can pay yield on stablecoin balances.
Coinbase alone earns about $1.35 billion a year from USDC rewards, so this one has real money attached to it.
Now let’s see the votes.
Republicans hold 53 seats. Two of them, Hawley and Paul, are expected to vote no.
They need 60 votes to break a filibuster, so they need at least 7 Democrats. Right now, only 2 have publicly backed it.
If this passes, digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum get permanently classified as commodities under CFTC oversight, and the SEC loses the ability to reclassify them.
That’s the framework institutions have been waiting on before deploying serious capital.
But if it fails, the crypto market will operate without any clear rules, which will hinder its adoption.
The business cycle is heating up.
It takes time before this is going to be visible in #Crypto and #Bitcoin, as there's a lag depending on the risk appetite that investors are willing to take.
In the current market sentiment, which is the worst I've ever seen, I think it will take some more weeks before we start to see it.
That's why the $65,000 #Bitcoin breakout is vital, as that would trigger a lot of strength for altcoins to come.
We're at 64k.
Statistically, not much upside left. Let me explain.
We're now where bitcoin was at 46k in 2022 before falling to 15.5k or at 13.9k in 2018 before dropping 3.2k.
Both times, the bear wasn't done.
July is positive. In midterm years average +10.52%. We opened at 58.5k so math lands us at 63.4-64.6k.
But Q3 is set to destroy the bulls. Midterm Aug-Sept is -16.68% avg.
Verdict is small bump then down.
The cycle isn't done reminding you what it is.

DOJ TO DROP $722M BITCLUB NETWORK CRYPTO FRAUD CASE AFTER LOBBYING BY TRUMP-LINKED LAWYERS
The US Department of Justice plans to dismiss with prejudice its 2019 criminal case against Matthew Goettsche, the alleged mastermind behind the $722 million BitClub Network crypto mining scheme, after lobbying by attorneys with ties to President Trump.
Goettsche, who was scheduled to stand trial in October on wire fraud and unregistered securities charges, allegedly operated BitClub Network as a global crypto Ponzi scheme that rewarded investors for recruiting new members while falsely claiming their funds were generating Bitcoin mining profits.
Prosecutors also cited private messages in which Goettsche allegedly called investors "dumb" and "sheep."
According to the report, Goettsche assembled a legal team that included Trump allies Bradford Cohen and Brett Tolman, who pushed the DOJ to abandon the prosecution.
DOJ spokesperson Emily Covington denied political influence, saying the department routinely reviews long-running cases and that the decision had "nothing to do with any alleged pressure" from the defense.
The case had been pending for nearly seven years and was approaching trial. Three co-defendants previously pleaded guilty.
The reported dismissal comes as the Trump administration has narrowed its focus on cryptocurrency enforcement while pursuing recovery of funds for alleged victims through other means.
