This isn't just empty volume; they lead the nation in dunk percentage at 19%, meaning they live at the rim. With a high-possession game like this, even a slight edge in athleticism usually covers the spread, especially since UGA has cleared their team total in 6 of their last 7.

The interior battle is where UGA should pull away. Somto Cyril leads D-1 in dunks and anchors a defense that ranks 2nd in blocks. SLU has a solid defensive rating at 42nd, but they haven't seen this kind of verticality in the A-10. If Jeremiah Wilkinson stays ho he’s averaging 17.1 pts and has a clutch gene he’ll force SLU into a track meet. The Billikens struggle to stop transition buckets when they aren't set, which plays right into the Dawgs' hands.

While SLU is a solid 17-12 ATS, UGA’s depth and SEC-level speed usually wear teams down in the second half of neutral-site games. In a game with a huge 170.5 O/U, in games projected to be high-possession, the more athletic roster usually gains the edge, which favors Georgia.
