@Giovann35084111 She is actually doing a fairly good job. And yes, the EU is one of the few institutions that can still limit the delusions of grandeur many tech entrepreneurs are hedging.
@Giovann35084111 It had been studied intensively. Even by analysing 2 thousand years old ice probes, showing a decline in Spanish silver mining. Reasons for the debasement and fall of the empire are, as you know multiple. Climate change, followed by epidemics, population decline โฆ
@benjamincowen France and Spain. They deserve it. But of course it will be either against one of those that do not deserve it. If I have to choose: Argentina. Otherwise it is entirely European. And as much as I like ๐ช๐บ - for a World Cup we need some transcontinental fun.
@benjamincowen Hopefully Norway. ๐ณ๐ด But those guys have a population of 5,6 million, England has 56 million ๐ Still, the Norwegians are great and have nuch cooler memes.
@Giovann35084111 Would not generalise. Dictators clearly serve themselves. Tyrannies feed and seduce people to contain resentment. Democracies come in all shades and colours. Some if them work very well. And we certainly prefer to live in one.
@selfradiance_ai @Holger21M With other words: nice maths but it is the psychology, politics and economics of adoption driving bitcoin growth. None of which can be predicted yet.
@dotkrueger Actually there a quite a few very professional, knowledgeable and sensitive individuals working on Europeโs future - even though we might not agree with all decisions. (and the system is complicated and can be reformedโฆ)
@david_eng_mba Itโs a story of remarkable resilience and bravery in the face of tyranny. Unfortunately very costly in terms of (invaluable) human lives.
@clintoptions@HansVPaulsen USD 2 million is light years from reality for nearly everyone, including me. Rather: working full time, middle aged, 0 savings, responsibilities. And a monthly struggle to keep the boat floating.
Money buys freedom, but only for very few.
