WFP is honored that His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has accepted an invitation to visit the organization's Rome headquarters and address the global staff and its Executive Board on 22 June.

His visit will provide a unique opportunity to highlight the global fight against hunger. This is an issue which Pope Leo has often spoken out on, and WFP’s role as the leading humanitarian agency saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability and prosperity.
