@SuzanneRelou@BeckyHall75@DanielPearcy@MathsTweetcher@InteractMaths@PaulRodrigo2718 Sure. I very rarely enter any of these debates but agree it is important that first of all the IB ensures that it always ensures that its systems are as good as they can be and secondly that we, as IB educators, realise that it is our IB teaching colleagues who are moderators.
@SuzanneRelou@BeckyHall75@DanielPearcy@MathsTweetcher@InteractMaths@PaulRodrigo2718 I am proud of the work me and the team do. There is a considerable amount of work taking place throughout the year. I, of course. have my own frustrations (my own AAHL scripts moderated down massively this year for example) but this happens. It shouldn't, but it does.

@ExtendingEast @Elfdaws @lane_learning @RCunningham82@tainsh @UWCSEA_East However ... practical suggestion ... get new supervisors to sit in on reflection or planning conversations that model the coaching approach.
@ExtendingEast @Elfdaws @lane_learning @RCunningham82@tainsh @UWCSEA_East The mentoring is a great idea - I just feel that most of the reluctance comes from supervisors putting too high expectations on themselves - more so than in teaching their subject even.
@dp_chat Not sure I fully understand the question as I am not sure that there is a lot that we can do. Obviously university counsellors will be on hand to guide as required and advocate where needed. We review our PG procedure and analyse and compare with actual results annually anyway.
@CarrieTurunen @agudteach@dp_chat Agree with Carrie here but accept this is my cultural context. PGs etc are holistic in nature, taking into account 'everything'; all assignments and interactions. Clearly weighting towards summative pieces but not via a 'mathematical calculation', rather a subjective decision.
