I had to go to public school because my parents couldn’t afford to put me in private school. My mother was a nurse and father an engineer. However, somehow Sudanese migrant children were getting into the Christian private schools my parents could only dream of sending me to. I personally knew one of the migrants, his mother was single and didn’t work.
