When they call us bigots, Nazis etc. The point is to create an emotional reaction. The point is to put you on the defence. When we start listing all the reasons why it’s not bigotry, they’ve already decided the terms of the argument and we’re behaving like defendants. It’s how they control the narrative. It’s not their narrative. We have logic and reason on our side, we don’t need to address emotive bs. Women are allowed to say no and we’re allowed to defend our boundaries.
@Wo_Mim@cervixen Trans surgeries are a consumer choice & purchase, not a single one is required.
Having chemo, surgery & radiation therapy for breast cancer was a choice for me, but only because I chose to survive.
There’s no such thing as a trans person, humans cannot change sex.
Remember, every person who says they are disgusted by the Supreme Court judgment is admitting that:
They’re disgusted that female sexual assault survivors might meet in a support group to open up about their trauma, without men being present.
They’re disgusted that lesbians can socialise exclusively with other lesbians, without men being present.
They’re disgusted by new mothers gathering together to discuss breastfeeding or post partum problems, without men being present.
They’re disgusted that girls can play sport with other girls and shower, change and dress, without boys being present.
They’re disgusted that organisations - which realise they are too male dominated - can’t fill any female quotas with other men.
They’re disgusted that vulnerable female prisoners and arrestees can’t be searched by men or kept in a cell with other men.
They’re disgusted that women can have their own things.
They’re disgusted by the Equality Act 2010.
They’re disgusted by the law.
Isn’t that disgusting?
There are thousands of biology papers about the sex binary.
Many of them use mathematical modeling to understand why there are only two sexes, why it’s so stable, and why it’s so universal.
Far from 3rd grade biology.
Try to dismiss all my evidence, Brett.
Also, try actually answering even one of the questions I’ve asked you.
So far, all you’ve done is call women bigots for wanting a female-only sporting category while never explaining what, exactly, is supposedly bigoted about it.
Then you pretended this is only happening in college sports and dismissed it as rare.
Well, if males are not dominating women’s sports, why have more than 1,000 women’s medals, titles, prizes, podium spots, roster spots, records, and opportunities gone to males?
Why do males hold world titles in women’s sports?
Why are males winning girls’ high school championships, women’s national championships, women’s world championships, women’s professional events, and female categories across swimming, cycling, disc golf, volleyball, track, boxing, MMA, rugby, soccer, powerlifting, football, ultimate frisbee, hockey, archery, and more?
This is not “a few college athletes.”
It is every level. Every age group. Every type of sport.
And every time women object, people like you resort to name-calling instead of answering the argument.
Bodies compete. Not identities.
But let’s get back to your accusation.
You called women bigots for wanting a female-only category.
So define it.
What is the bigotry?
Is it bigotry to separate sports by sex?
Is it bigotry to acknowledge that male and female bodies are different?
Is it bigotry to want a category where females are guaranteed not to compete against males?
Or is “bigot” just the word you use when you don’t have an answer?
You made the accusation.
Now defend it. We are still waiting for a real answer.
@5uffragette Aside from the quality issue (drugs), there is also a quantity issue. It appears from the small number of studies, that men taking drugs & pretending to be women do not make enough milk to feed a baby properly.
@5uffragette Why on earth any breastfeeding organisations are encouraging narcissistic men with no inhibitions to involve babies in their fetish needs to be researched & investigated.
Ok. Rant time.
When women breastfeed, they are routinely warned to avoid alcohol, cannabis, nicotine, certain vitamins, caffeine, cold remedies, and many other common substances. The reason is simple: drugs and other substances can pass into breast milk and potentially affect an infant.
By contrast, induced lactation in trans identified men appears to invoke a blind spot around these same cautions when it comes to them feeding babies fluid leaking from their nipples as a side affect of taking multiple drugs and wrong sex hormones. Even more concerning, research in this area is extremely scant. One has to wonder what would motivate such a wildly differing attitude from medical professionals when it comes to “men’s milk” over women’s.
Published protocols for male “lactation” typically involve combinations of medications such as:
Estradiol (estrogen hormone therapy)
Spironolactone (anti-androgen/testosterone blocker)
Cyproterone acetate (anti-androgen, in some countries)
Progesterone (sex hormone)
Domperidone (a drug used to increase prolactin and stimulate milk production)
Metoclopramide (another prolactin-raising drug used to stimulate lactation)
The literature on induced lactation in men consists primarily of a small number of case reports. There are NO large scale clinical studies. Furthermore, only a very limited analyses of milk composition has been conducted, and that’s to say nothing of the dynamic, adaptive properties observed in women’s/mothers natural breastmilk.
The unanswered questions around men producing unstudied fluid from their nipples due solely to a regime of drugs are significant. This is strange because medicine typically applies a highly precautionary standard to breastfeeding because infant exposure matters- well, at least when it comes to women. Given the breathtakingly small number of published cases it would seem important to demand at least the same level of scrutiny regarding composition, medication transfer, hormone exposure, and long-term infant outcomes when it comes to men - and more.

@RobynAnderson Not only do the babies in the womb hear her heartbeat, they hear her purr. When they arrive they have that lovely reassuring sound to hear.
BREAKING: @ADFLegal has just filed suit on behalf of Kallie Keeler, the female wrestler who says she was sexually assaulted by a trans opponent. The opening line says it all: "Lies hurt people – in this case girls." Kallie, her mom, and their attorney will join unDivided at noon.
@peterrhague Another one is forgetting that they have eaten dinner & no, it’s not just a ploy for more food - you can tell they have genuinely forgotten.
@peterrhague doing it. Change in lifelong habits - my cat refused to sleep on my bed after having done it for all his life. Went off to sleep alone on the couch even if I physically put him on the bed.
If your cat is not in pain - just make adjustments as you might for a dotty grandma.
@martian_lore@JenLRossman On the other hand - it was relatively simple to set up your own darkroom. If you had a camera, processing your own film at home was an option. The required chemicals were easy to access.
@WomenReadWomen@TheAttagirls@reduxx Everything about that boy’s life is desperately sad. A confluence of weird people, starting with his parents (mother especially). Not one with enough sense or morals to say this is wrong.
