@bennash I used it some in my short. I ran most locally with minimax H3 but plugged into Fal with H3 max when I needed a little extra.

Even played around with some of the turbo models. Had good results with them as well.

Yeah, the pace this stuff is changing is mind blowing. I have a modest rig, so someone with serious hardware could really make long form productions a reality, sooner rather than later.

I know a ton of accounts out there are doing amazing work. Not sure how many are running local for their heavy lifting.

Echoes of Home.

Paying homage to so many great animators from the 80s and 90s. What they did is beyond impressive.

~85% local on the home lab. Mostly @MiniMax_AI minimax H3.
Flux2 and Mid Journey 8.2 for image generation.

The remaining 15% was editing, audio, and the shots my local just couldn't get right, using Minimax H3 MAX on @fal (Mainly due to me being impatient on a few of the larger scenes.)

Editing, color and sound in FCPX. I treated it just like a short film.

If you care about what you can actually finish on your own hardware in 2026, this is my attempt.

It's not @Gossip_Goblin or @AzeAlter but I think it turned out pretty ok for a first go.

I was screaming this in 2023 when I spent 3 months at the border filming for a doc.
The number of people getting ushered in was unimaginable. Hundreds of busses each day, packed to the brim.

All shuttled to a receiving place, given a card with thousands of dollars and fully charged cell phones then released into the US.
