@ChiaraEisner @Pien_Huang I really applaud your work, especially since my whole family lives in Texas. Can you take your frozen samples elsewhere in the US for testing? I can’t imagine they have to be tested in TX.

@WalterDeemer Is this November 2021 or April/May 2023? Both very similar for market internals, but the first led to a sharp short term drop and the other a “correction in time” with a flat SPX that resolved with a big move up in June ‘23. Hard to say which this will be.

@QuantifiablEdgs I’ve followed you and the CBI for years - always a great resource, thank you. Can you identify what input to the CBI is causing this spike? It is puzzling given limited market stress (at least on price). Although breadth (% stocks > 50 day avg) is quite poor.

Yes, the Fed is going to hike another 25 basis points today, but according to the @ChicagoFed financial conditions are now the easiest they've been since February 2022. Whether right or wrong, markets are forward looking.

@rachsieg Q: Several measures of financial conditions, including a new federal reserve bank index, show financial conditions as very loose. Does this concern the Fed at all and what measures of financial conditions do you and the other board members focus on?

@nopecharts Do paid subscribers see a notice at the start of the day indicating there’s an “abnormal opening” or “trend day” or other sign that NOPE signals should be treated with extra caution? I’ve only seen these disclaimers at the end of the day, but I’m not paying. I might though.

@SouthwestAir Way to ruin Christmas for me & family. Flight from DCA (no weather) to AUS (no weather), but you couldn’t make it happen. Total management failure. Don’t blame weather for poor planning on weather-free flights. No flights til Monday night, so holiday is canceled.
