@LukeSampe That’s true, but playoff football games were scheduled on this date for the whole season. I usually need to find coverage a month or 2 in advance. I know not everybody agrees but I would’ve been mad if the high school playoff game was moved to tomorrow or earlier today.
@ianmSC@MaxMannis I started following you for all of the Covid info, but I don’t know how much more of this I can take. Fandom is completely blinding you.
@Dave_Korn_@NurseSallySays@CartlandDavid@SherriTenpenny How do you know anything for certain? Lack of perfect evidence is not lack of evidence. The longer I’m working (pharmacy), the more I realize double blind placebo controlled being pushed as gold standard was to sow doubt in real world experiences and overlook regulatory capture.
@FLShockDoc@BrownieTurd@aaedindoc 🤣🤣🤣 coercion can only be threat of death or litigation, but not threat of refusal of health care services? You’re right, I must not understand that word.
Disagreement of opinion happens when Dr gives advice & patient chooses something different. Threat of discharge=coercion
@FLShockDoc@BrownieTurd@aaedindoc So “do what I say or I won’t take care of you”….. basically the definition of coercion. Threatening a consequence is 100% attempting to dictate the decision. I could come up w/countless analogies to make this point, but it would be in vain vs your willful ignorance/obsfucation
@FLShockDoc@BrownieTurd@aaedindoc Ignoring what was said…. Do doctors have expertise? Yes. Should they be able to dictate health care decisions through enforcement of consequences or coercion? Absolutely not.
Since becoming a Brewer, William Contreras has fully embraced Milwaukee: “Three years ago, my agent calls and tells me, ‘Atlanta traded you.’ I told him: ‘Trade me back.’ I’m like, ‘MILWAUKEE?! OK. Nobody talk to me.’ Nah — it’s just crazy to be traded like that. Crazy. I barely understood what a trade means. But what choice do you have? So I try to accept it. I try to think, William. Be honest. What you KNOW about Milwaukee? Yes, for a Venezuelan kid, and even just coming from Atlanta, it’s a different world, a different culture. But then I get here, and I get to know things.… It’s an amazing place. The organization, the fans, it’s such a great baseball city. Funny how it changes. Now if I think about that trade, I got lucky....
OK — so there is this saying in football (‘soccer’ here). It goes: The ball is round. And what it means is: The game is unpredictable. For example, say it’s the offseason. Teams are making moves. Huge trades, huge signings. Sure. But here’s the thing. It’s only the offseason. Once the real season starts, once the ball starts bouncing? ANYTHING can happen. Most times, it bounces in favor of the big cities. Teams with the biggest investments, the biggest talent. But sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes, the ball just bounces another way. You can’t explain it, can’t predict it, can’t pay for it … you can only go out there and play. It’s just a ball, you know what I’m saying?? The ball is round....
It’s funny … I still have a little regret, years later, for being rude to my agent about the trade. ‘MILWAUKEE?!’ Wow. What a wrong way to react. Now, I hope I spend my whole career here — and I hope to be on the first World Series winner in Brewers history. It’ll happen, I bet. It’s like Bob [Uecker] always said: ‘No one better than you.’ Well actually, Bob, probably some are better than me! I’m not the best. None of our group is. But if you’re telling me another team is the best??? Man, I swear. I haven’t seen them. No one better than Milwaukee right now. No one better than US.” https://t.co/vmnVU6McVb

@Alvin1492840 We just had a bag of Clancy’s sour cream and onion chips. If you claim they are the same as Lay’s, you deserve ice cream smashed in and around your eyes. They taste horrific.
@Mike_Jagacki To piggy back…. Interested in specific systems to use based on personnel make up. Example: very short team, 2 very good guards, pure weakness everywhere else. What do you run?
@RobertAnthony_T Everyone is fighting over whether it was deep enough to get out anyways, but I don’t think it matters. I think it was hooking foul until it hit the cable. Also you CAN’T say they won the game. Brewers would’ve had another inning to hit.
